The fabric is 100% polyester but the polyester in the outer and inner layer have been processed differently.

The polyester in the protective outer layer is a crimped yarn stretch. This is used instead of the more popular elastane or Lycra since crimped yarn is easier to recycle. Inside, the polyester takes the form of the micro fleece, probably the best fabric for keeping warm and snug.
